Super Iron Out Directions for Use Please follow cautions and instructions on the label carefully. TOILET BOWL AND WATER TANK 1/2 cup (125 mL) Remove any cleaners or deodorant from bowl or tank. Flush. TO CLEAN BOWL 1. Add 1/2 cup to water in bowl. 2. Scrub stained area with brush. 3. Let stand until stains are gone. Flush. TO CLEAN TANK 1. Raise water level above stain line if possible. 2. Add 1/2 cup. 3. Let stand overnight or until stains are gone. WHITE LAUNDRY/ FABRICS LAUNDRY WITH COLOR OR EMBROIDERY 1/2 cup (125 mL) Note: Do not use with bleach or peroxide. WHITE LAUNDRY 1. Add 1/2 cup to warm water as washer is filling. 2. Add clothes and let soak for 5 minutes, if possible, by stopping machine. 3. Add detergent and resume wash/rinse cycle. 4. Dry as usual. COLOR LAUNDRY Test all colors before using. Use only on colorfast dyes. NOTE FOR COLORED LAUNDRY: Wash each item separately using the WHITE CLOTHES instructions. Product may irreparably damage colors and embroidered logos. DISHWASHER/ WASHING MACHINE 1/2 cup (125 mL) 1. Add 1/2 cup to EMPTY machine. 2. Run machine through normal cycle using water only. Repeat as needed. Note: Do not open machine mid-cycle. DISHES, GLASS, PLASTIC WARE 1/3 cup (83 mL) 1. Dissolve 1/3 cup in 1 gal. of warm water. 2. Soak articles 5 min., or until stains are gone. 3. Rinse thoroughly. Repeat as needed. EXTERIOR SURFACES 1 cup (250 mL) (Stone, Concrete, Brick, Boats, RVs) 1. Mix 1 cup into 1 gal. warm water. 2. Wet surface with clear water. 3. Apply with brush or sponge. 4. Keep saturated until stains are gone. Rinse. NOTE: Avoid contact with vegetation. WATER SOFTENER FIRST APPLICATION 1 cup (250 mL) REGULAR USE 1/4 cup (62 mL) All softeners on iron bearing water require Super Iron Out as preventative maintenance and to eliminate iron buildup. FIRST APPLICATION 1. Dissolve 1 cup in 1/2 gal. cold water. 2. Pour directly into brine well (for softeners with no brine well, pour directly into salt tank when salt level is low). 3. Manually regenerate softener. Repeat for heavily fouled unit. REGULAR USE Add 1/4 cup per 40 lbs. of salt. 2. Layer for continuous treatment. CABINET MODELS USE FOR PERIODIC CLEANING ONLY. Follow FIRST APPLICATION instructions above. Repeat regularly. NOTE: If taste or odor is detected in tap water, manually regenerate softener, then run cold water until odor is gone. TUBS, SINKS, TILE, ETC. 1. Wet area to be cleaned. 2. Apply powder to damp sponge or cloth. 3. Rub lightly until stains are gone. Rinse. NOTE: Not recommended for older, worn or chipped porcelain cast iron fixtures.
